There is always something to be thankful for, that's right...
No matter your circumstances, things could be a lot worse!
As busy ambitious, audacious go-getters we tend to focus on getting more and on what we don’t have, rather than on what we do have, sadly we also tend not to appreciate things until they're gone!
Most go-getters spend the majority of their time and energy, working hard for the things they want and there is nothing wrong with that.
But it is healthy/mindful to take a moment or two; smile, reflect and be grateful for what you do have and recognise your accomplishments!
Never let the things you want, make you forget the things you have.
Here are some things people take for granted:
- Waking up each day
- Good Health
- Having somewhere to live/ sleep
- Family / Friends
- Nice clothes
- Living in the UK
- Free access to a Doctor
- Clean water
- The ability to read/ write and learn
- The opportunity to have a good education
- The Internet
- Their senses – sight, smell, speech, taste, hearing, touch.
